Gregory Knight, a Canada-based contemporary realist painter, has been actively engaged in his craft since 2006. His artistic journey commenced after studying at Vancouver's Emily Carr University of Art and Design and film school, where he developed a unique blend of photography and painting skills, resulting in captivating and one-of-a-kind artworks.

While oil and acrylic on canvas are his preferred mediums, Gregory also showcases his talent in traditional watercolour landscapes. His paintings often portray anonymous urban street scenes, carefully selected to evoke a profound sense of nostalgia and remembrance within the viewer.

Incorporating underlying themes, Gregory draws inspiration from ordinary individuals, movies, music, and personal connections to the urban landscape. His art transcends the mere reproduction of photographs in paint; instead, it prompts viewers to reflect on their own memories and experiences, inviting them into an emotional and introspective journey.
